about

This album is free to download, Enjoy!

****this is the opinion and recollection of Rob Logan****

This was our first full length album. We pushed ourselves musically and artistically past our abilities. Listening to it now it's hard to imagine me playing those drum parts. Everyone rises to the occasion on this album, flaws and all, this was the best we could have possibly done at the time.

We jumped right off the prog rock cliff with this one. Kenny was coming up with crazy arrangements and Tim really shines on the bass (one of the best and unique players I have had the honor to play with). Chris's lyrics are a force (albeit hard to interpret at times without an advanced degree, he is a PhD now) and he really made the record a cohesive entity. I wish we would have had the money to print them in the liner notes.

We added some more mics and another synced Alesis 8-track ADAT, but the tracks were still recorded one by one in Superdeep studios. Chris got protools and cut this thing to shreds, but it made it a better sounding album with the recording technology we had.

I remember hating the recording process which took a year, my drums took a month. I was bored and there were lots of band fights, but in the end I am more than happy with this one.
